In this week of communication design, I got to learn about branding identities. As designers, it is important to have a brand identity, a logo, a tagline and a concept behind a brand. We were assigned the term “Halt” and told to make a brand idea out of it, design a logo and an intention. While brainstorming these ideas, I thought about Halt being a potential app for storing memories. I wanted to think outside the box and not conform to certain ideologies that are typical of the word. Halt, can symbolise “stopping” memories and holding them. This app allows its users to hold memories and turn them into collages or whatever it is that they want.
