In the second week of Imaging, I began and finished the first two pages of my comics:
At first, I found it overwhelming to make five comics from scratch on photoshop, especially by using only the brush tool. But afterwards, I got more adept and fast at it, finding it quite fun to draw these characters and the whole comic. The space was definitely difficult to control, because it was only A5. I had to take a lot of test prints to figure out what font sizes would look good or whether or not the colours would suit the zine.
This made me quite good at character design, one thing I have found challenging but have always admired in artists. It improved not only my photoshop skills but also my drawing skills and colour theory.
