This week, I finished making my digital zine on photoshop. I also chose to do a first draft’s test print on glossy paper, to bring out the most accurate print, to bring out all the details. After a lot of trials and errors in test printing, I chose to use photo paper, because the glossy paper made the print look quite blotchy. This made the print look more accurate and clear.
A digital version of my completed zine (with cover page and excerpt):
I also chose to write an excerpt, explaining the intention and idea behind my comics. I feel like this was needed to give the audience some context. I made use of my knowledge of opacity in brushes and used varied opacities to give an effect on the edges.
