When I was introduced to this topic, I was very fascinated by the evolution of art and how the people from different civilisations chose to express their creativity. I therefore decided to explore the evolution of art in the Stone age, specifically the neolithic era.

Above is the draft of the timeline I want to create. The research that I came up was too broad, and so was the topic, so then I decided to narrow the topic of ‘art’ down to pottery and explore the types of pottery throughout the Neolithic Era. I was fascinated by the different types of pottery different civilizations could come up with. It was fascinating to see how different the ceramics in China were to the ones from Egypt. I plan on exploring this further and coming up with a timeline of the evolution of different artistic styles of pottery.
