This week, as we wrapped up our final logos and their designs, we got to review them and look at the essential criteria that judges a logo’s effectiveness. As mentioned in the class, the logo is the most important part of a brand and without it, no idea or purpose can be conveyed. It is practically the face or identity of the company. Therefore, in my group I planned on creating the colour palette for the logo design. I finalised on three colour schemes focusing on the colour blue (everyman), green (explorer), and red (lover) on the brand identity wheel. The reason why we chose these identities was because they conform to the intent of our brand which is a collage app.
Below is my experimentation with the colour schemes I could implement in the logo:

We then finalised on the first colour scheme and then went ahead and created out final logo:

All in all, as an aspiring logo designer, this taught me a lot about logo designing and facets that come under it.
