In order to make our model, we began compiling a wide variety of materials to use to make it look more interesting. We experimented with m-seal, hot glue guns, file cards, mount board, wood, MDF, scotch-bright sponge, paper, cloth and cotton. This, I feel, gave a variety of effects to our model. The different materials allowed for different effects, too. (For example, the hot glue gun gave a watery effect for the Flora Fountain.)
All in all, we were satisfied with our final model as it represented Kala Ghoda, its diversity and what it has to offer well. Furthermore the secondary research done on the history of art, people, landmarks, etc also helped us gain a better idea of what Kala Ghoda stood for, which also made it easier for us to make the model.
