This week, we learned of our new topic “Parts of a Whole”. We learned about the challenges and the expectations with regards to the stream we chose to select in our sophomore year of college. we began brainstorming what makes our desired stream what it is and what we think it is made of. As I kept brainstorming, I learned that my chosen stream “Communication Design” is quite multifaceted and possesses several aspects under it. I began noting them down in the form of a mind map, this way, I learned my information could be more organised and systematic. As I began mapping, I also narrowed down certain aspects further into what I think the stream is all about. Below is my mind map:

This exercise helped me organise my thoughts and ideas in communication design. I also got to narrow down the aspects which I would like to further pursue in the stream down to Graphic designing, packaging, and logo designing.
