In this class, we expanded our horizons. We took inspiration from Invisible Cities by Italo Calvino and began imagining our own invisible city based on an existing one. This was, for me, quite interesting to do as I got to make up themes and locations for my city that were limitless and boundless. I got to experiment with bizarre aspects and use my creativity completely.

The city I chose to reimagine was New York City. The city itself is overwhelming and huge, with its buildings and skyscrapers that stand tall and bold. I took this aspect as inspiration to create mushroom city. I depicted the mushrooms tall and big, just like the skyscrapped in New York. I am yet to finish this, but I like how my concept is going so far.
