Our second prototype encompassed the high five wearable theme. The materials used were:

-Safter pins
-File card
-Elastic

We chose to use safety pins as the primary connector between the two hands, because despite its sturdiness, it is still flexible to work with. The hands will be easier to move together and apart from each other without breaking the connection. We attached file cards to our fingers like rings, and then attached safety pins to our file card to anchor the safety pins.

Through this exercise, I learned how to manipulate materials and use them to our advantage and create designs and concepts in well thought out ways. Experimenting with the different types of materials really our skills in improvising and turning the ordinary objects we see everyday and turn them into something more.
