As my seven pictures got finalised to three, I decided to create a completely different narrative on my story. My initial story depicted a girl being confused by her math homework and turning to music for an escape. My new story focuses on a broader concept of how she is disturbed by the chaos and the traffic of the world outside on the streets and roads, and then turns to music to escape the loud noise and disorder.
These are the the screen caps of the videos I added onto my movie.
In this class, I also learned about how Time can possess the ability to produce temporal conditions. Which means that nothing with regard to time is permanent. For example, a table will eventually rust and decay, humans will grow old, and the weathers will change regardless of what happens. I also understood how time can also be a malleable concept. Meaning that it is relative to its perceiver, and it can be viewed differently by everyone. I realised that I was subconciously using this concept in my movie. I talk about time as a chaotic part of life but then I also give it a calming and serene perspective, showing the two different sides of it that can be altered through music.
