In the sixth week of our seminar class, we got to reflecting on our 6 narratives that we had written. I learned that when we, as writers write or make art, it is very easy to be blinded by the areas that we could improve on. Therefore, peer review and reflection is thoroughly significant to the writing process. Ayona Deb, from section K gave my review for six narratives:
I then learned that my essays really lacked the “human quotient” and a sense of description in order to make the audience depict a scene in their heads. To enhance my essays, I began making them more descriptive and well written, depicting an easily describable scene in the audience’s heads.
I also learned about the power of writing and imagining. How, as humans, we have an entire world inside of our heads, and when we put pen to paper, can actually bring it to life.
