In order to work with a digital piece, I planned on ideating my concept on paper first and then taking it to Adobe Illustrator. In my Artwork, I plan on focusing on the theme of progressive feminism in the movie “Dor”. A common and recurring theme throughout the movie was the comparison of an already married woman and a widow. The ways in which society treated these women regardless of their marital status was staggering. I wanted to portray this in the form of a digital artwork.

Rough Ideation of my process:

I plan on juxtaposing two perspectives of how women are viewed in society. The first one portrays a more realistic view (Left) whereas the one on the right portrays an orthodox perspective. I plan on turning this into a two sided digital poster.
