As we began reviewing what we learned in the past few weeks, we got to reflect on the things we learned in our imaging class. I learned why certain designers use certain formats and applications that InDesign offers. Each application has a purpose, like for example, the wrap text can be used to surround a body of text, however, the purpose can be more theoretical. It can be used for an appealing aethetic but can also be used to grip the audience make them relate the body of text to a particular picture that it surrounds. Therefore, understanding the reasoning behind these softwares is crucial and important, too.
In this lesson, I also made final touches on my InDesign photobook and magazine. Such as aligning it to the baseline grid, wrapping the text properly and recreating the links that got unlinked when i moved my files. I learned that its important to out the images and writing within the margins of the pages because it make it look neater, more professional, and magazine-like, too.
