In this class, I continued making my layers with the exacto-knife. Making intricate marks and lines to create textures and effects on white paper was challenging, because one wrong stroke or tear would make the entire layer useless. Therefore, the need of accuracy came in handy, and the more patiently I cut, the better my results were. I finished cutting my second layer in this class. I had to redo this twice, because of the intricate cuts that made the paper cut off easily. The third time was the charm, and my layer worked out well.

Because my layers were very intricate, I kept changing the blade of my knife which I found helped me a lot because of the extremely sharp point on it. It helped me cut sharp edges and properly curved circles, which were otherwise challenging to cut without a sharp blade.
