During this week, I learned how to navigate through the print settings and adjust it according to my layout (A5), reach its maximum resolution in the compression settings, and print our layout succesfully. I also learned how to link the texts from column to column. This was helpful to learn because in the past, I’ve had errors in my file due to the text not corresponding with the text box’s size, learning this method removed all of the errors from my file.
I also came with the intial draft of my layout for our Imaging/Seminar booklet. I decided to incorporate pastel and vibrant colours as the color scheme because they impart a jolly and playful message, just like my narratives. I plan on further editing these to match the drawings made in my studio class, which are mainly black and white. Here is the first draft of my layout:
